QuantPad for Gas Analysis

QuantPad for Gas Analysis is
optimized for the quantitative analysis of gases. It uses a modified
classical least-squares-fit (CLS) algorithm to detect trace-level
gases in the presence of strong interferences such as water or
carbon dioxide. QuantPad is particularly useful for combustion gas
analysis, alternative fuel combustion research and purity of
specialty and bulk gases.
The strength of QuantPad is its
ability to compensate for interferences in the sample.
Each concentration value is calculated with a statistical
"goodness of fit" term which provides information about
the quality of the measurement. An unanticipated interfering
compound causes a fit error, which flags the concentration
calculation as a suspect value.
Through the Thermo Nicolet Custom
Solutions program, standard methods for use with QuantPad are
available for combustion gas analysis (CO, CO2, NOx, THC, SO2,
formaldehyde), ambient air monitoring and impurities in pure gases
such as aviator's breathing oxygen (ABO).
