Transport Kit is a
compact, mobile, battery-powered FT-IR spectrometer designed
specifically for mobile laboratories in the fields of hazardous
material, forensic, or law-enforcement applications.
The
Most Comprehensive, Portable Solution
Transport Kit contains a rugged and
durable IR100 FT-IR spectrometer with an integrated computer that
eliminates the requirement of a laptop or external PC. The flexible
design of the IR100 allows virtually any sample type (solid, liquid,
or gas) to be quickly identified with no sample preparation. The kit contains
three sampling modules that simply slide into the sample
compartment, requiring no tools or alignment. You can use the
Endurance Diamond ATR for analysis of almost any liquid or solid
sample, a small gas cell for gas analysis, or the transmission
insert for traditional measurements. The IR100 is also compatible
with many of the Swap-TopTM modules for
the Spectra-Tech Foundation SeriesTM. In
addition, Transport Kit comes complete with EncompassTM
software designed specifically for the identification of unknown
materials. Combined with a collection of powerful spectral databases
of more than 9,000 compounds, these features allow the operator to
simply push a button to get a detailed report and identification of
unknown materials.
Transport Kit also has either the
Hazardous Materials or Forensic Library Database Collections, which
were created specifically for the system from over 100,000 Thermo
Nicolet spectral databases.

Transport Kit contains all
the hardware, software, and library databases to solve all of your
mobile-analysis needs. At 32 pounds, it is the smallest integrated
system available. Inside, you will find everything you need to meet
any portable power requirements, giving you three options. It
includes a standard AC 110/240 power supply and cord for regular use
with an AC outlet or generator. A battery pack is also included that
allows up to seven hours of continuous operation and can be quickly
recharged by plugging into the phone/cigarette socket of any
automobile or a standard AC outlet. Also included is a DC car
adapter that allows the system to be operated by plugging into any
automobile phone/cigarette socket.

the laboratory. The robust and simple operation provides immediate
results on location. The hardened, Transport Kit case incorporates
an integrated telescoping handle and wheels to allow for easy air
